Preventative maintenance is very important with spa controls. Heater relays go through the most
usage and cause the most headaches. The majority of our repairs include changing at least one
heater relay. The boards on this page were damaged by bad heater relays. Each circuit board
required cleaning smoke-damaged connections and extensive board rework. All our repairs come with Preventative Maintenance.
The pictures above are from a board we brought back to life. The board was placed back into the
pack and load tested at 40 amps. We believe heater relays should be changed every 5 years under normal operation.
